About Us
We built Humm for a problem the wellness industry has been ignoring.
For decades, the message to anyone uncomfortable in their own body has been the same: work harder. Eat less. Book the massage. Buy the belt that promises to melt your fat. The industry has built itself on a single idea — that the way you feel in your body is a problem with you, and the fix is more effort, more money, more discipline.
But the deepest reason your body feels tight, puffy, tense, and uncomfortable isn't a failure of effort. It's a failure of recovery. The muscles you train without ever releasing. The fascia that locks up from sitting eight hours a day. The fluid that pools because your body never gets a chance to flush it. The tension that builds in your lower back, your hips, your core — every day, all day — and no amount of "just try harder" is built to undo it.
Until now, the only real options were a $200 massage you can't afford weekly, a $600 percussion gun you'll never actually use, or accepting a body that doesn't feel like yours.
We thought there should be a third option.
The idea that changed our minds.
Humm started with a single question: if athletes, physiotherapists, and recovery clinics have been using targeted vibration therapy for years to release tension and support circulation, why has no one made a serious version that an actual person could wear hands-free, anywhere, every day?
The answer, it turned out, was that nobody had been willing to build it properly. Most consumer vibration devices are toys — underpowered motors in cheap plastic shells, marketed with claims about fat loss that don't survive five minutes of scrutiny. They put the buzzword on the box without putting the engineering in the device.
We took the opposite approach. Nine intensity modes, six steady and three rhythmic, driven by a high-frequency motor built for performance — not the wimpy buzz of a knock-off. A device light enough to wear under a sweater. Cordless. Quieter than a whisper. Designed to sit exactly where tension builds and stay there for as long as you need it.
Then we built it into the format the science demanded: hands-free. Because the device that doesn't get used is the one you have to hold.
What we believe.
That you shouldn't have to choose between a $200 massage and a $20 plastic belt. Targeted vibration therapy is a real, studied category — when the device is real and the engineering is honest.
That the wellness industry has been quietly profiting from your discomfort. Weekly massages, monthly memberships, "lose the bloat" pills — that's not a wellness routine. It's a subscription to feeling broken. We built Humm because we think the answer should cost less than a single appointment, not more than a year of them.
That feeling comfortable in your own body is not vanity. It's the most reasonable thing a person can want. The body that carries you through your day should feel like it's working with you, not against you. When it doesn't, that's a real thing — and we take it seriously.
Our promise.
We won't oversell. We won't tell you a vibration device melts fat or replaces exercise. It doesn't, and we won't pretend.
What we will tell you is this: if you use Humm for sixty nights and don't feel looser, lighter, and more comfortable in your own body, we'll refund every penny. No forms. No fine print. No version of "well, you must not have used it right."
We made a product we're willing to bet on.
We hope you'll bet on it with us.
